Barney Simon has taken over management bringing with him over twenty years experience in the sale, rental, and installation of drapery and dance floor, and plans to build on Hansen's fine reputation as the premiere rental source for stage curtains and drops. In addition to serving the drapery rental needs of both film and theater communities, J.C. Hansen plans to offer increased installation, design, and delivery services, and will now stock flooring, track, tape, and hardware.

The Hansen Company owns a large and varied rental inventory that includes more than 1,800 velour drapes of different colors, accent and rain curtains, scrims and cycs, painted scenic and photography/interview backdrops, lighted star drops and chromakey drops. The addition of seventy rolls of marley dance floor makes Hansen New York City's largest rental house for floor.
